Minor Subdivisions are small subdivisions of between 1 and 9 lots. The minor subdivision process is often quicker, with fewer requirements than a typical subdivision. The number of lots allowed by this process varries with the city or county in which the property resides.  Regulations and qualifications differ significantly by jurisdiction.  At times an Annexation Map and/or Rezoning Map are also needed prior to the Minor subidvision.
